About the project

The following are the final prints of various compositions created by using different printing techniques ranging from etchings on aluminium plate and Planography.

Artwork: Inspecting the unattended

Medium: Etching on Zinc plate

The folds and lines of the material intrigued me, so did the process of bathing the zinc plate in acid and touching up with benzine to get the tonal values of my liking. I usually collect bits and pieces from my environment and weave them together to make a narrative out of it.

Artwork: Corner

Medium: Plate lithography

Things do not define us, but how we make use of them does give a glimpse of who we are. The work is a planographic print (plate lithography). Drawing strewn spaces is fun for me because each one represents something unique and fascinating.

Artwork: Taak
